How Many Bathrooms Should You Have in a House?

Many people, when starting the design of their future home, ask themselves this question. After all, as funny as it may sound, this parameter is one of the most important for living comfort and even for defining the class of the house. In comfort-class houses, the number of bathrooms equals the number of bedrooms minus one; in business-class houses, the number of bathrooms equals the number of bedrooms; in premium-class houses, each bedroom has its own bathroom, and there is at least one shared bathroom.
We recommend including at least two bathrooms in the project, even if only a couple plans to live in the house. In this case, one bathroom is located in the master suite, and the second is close to the entrance or common area. This is convenient for separating dirty work, such as shoe cleaning, floor washing, etc. And with the addition of family members or for selling the house (who knows?), this detail will be a significant plus.
If, for example, there are two children and pets in the family, then the minimum in this case would be the first bathroom located in the master suite for the parents, the second close to the children's bedrooms, and the third at the entrance for dirty work and pets.
We also recommend having a separate laundry room in the house. Let it be a room at least 1.3 m * 1.5 m, but it will already allow you to place the washing and drying machines in the most convenient way - on the floor next to each other, cabinets for storing washing accessories, laundry baskets, and even a separate sink. And with the appearance of a laundry room, you will have the opportunity to keep the door to it closed, which will save you from noise and limit pets' access to dirty laundry.
Another good solution in a private house will be a small boiler room with an entrance from the vestibule or from the yard. Despite the fact that there are currently no specific requirements for the placement of a gas boiler in a house or on a plot in Georgia, a separate boiler room is primarily your safety and, secondly, a solution that improves the aesthetic appearance of the rest of the house, allowing you to hide the technical part, such as a gas boiler, manifold, water filters, pump, etc.
